Interaction
For my graduation project we had to design two objects, between those had to be a realitionship. A realistionship consisting of materials or function.
From the start on I liked the idea of interaction with an object. To extend the realitionship and make the user part of the project.
I wanted to make this interaction visible, somehow create a pattern that is unique to the action of the user. After 6 weeks of designing and experimenting I came up with a collection of a picture frame and small storage cabinet.
The design is simple, easily made from different materials, modular and sustainable. Using slabs to addapt the piece to every form that needs to be stort, resolting in unique, exploding patterns.
In this project I used cherry wood with recycled nylon.
